Main Job Responsibilities:

- Analyze clients' financial situations to identify potential issues (such as irrational asset allocation, insufficient protection, etc.).

Professional Qualification Requirements:

 

- Candidates need to pass relevant professional qualification exams. Common certifications in China include the National Certified Financial Planner (CHFP) and Certified Financial Planner (CFP). The content and requirements of different certifications vary, usually involving knowledge of finance, taxation, law, etc.

- Some certifications a certain amount of work experience and need to participate in continuing education regularly to maintain the qualification.

 

Employment Fields:

 

- Financial planners mainly work in banks, securities, insurance companies, third-party financial institutions, wealth management companies, and other financial institutions. They can also practice independently to provide consulting services.
