Exhibition designers are professional talents who are responsible for the spatial layout, visual presentation, and atmosphere creation exhibition activities (such as exhibitions, expositions, product launches, forums, etc.). They transform abstract exhibition themes into concrete spatial environments through creative design, balancing functionality and art to enhance the exhibition experience and the event's appeal.
Main Job Responsibilities
- Space Planning and Layout Design: Plan a reasonable spatial layout based on the theme, venue size (exhibition halls, conference halls, etc.), and functional requirements (such as exhibition area division, flow line guidance, negotiation area setting, stage construction etc.) to ensure smooth traffic, clear functional zoning, and maximum utilization of venue resources.
- Visual Creativity and Design: Design the overall visual style (including color matching modeling elements, and sign systems, etc.) based on the exhibition positioning (such as commercial promotion, brand display, cultural exchange, etc.), create flat effect drawings,3D models, or hand-drawn designs to present the design concepts of core visual carriers such as booths, stages, backdrops, and signs.
- Material and Integration: Choose appropriate construction materials (such as trusses, display boards, LED screens, lighting equipment, etc.), consider the environmental friendliness, safety, and cost materials; combine multimedia technology (such as interactive devices, projectors, sound effects, etc.) to enhance the design's technological sense and interactivity, and improve the immersive of exhibitors.
- Implementation and Detail Control: Communicate with constructors and manufacturers to convert design plans into actual construction processes, provide technical parameters and construction guidance; superv the on-site construction process to ensure that the design effect is accurately reproduced, and solve detailed problems such as size errors and material compatibility.
- Cost Control and Optimization Adjust: Reasonably control the cost of materials, production, and construction under the premise of meeting the design effect; optimize and adjust the design plan according to customer feedback or actual site conditions balancing creativity and feasibility.

- Creative Design Ability: Have keen aesthetic vision and innovative thinking, can transform exhibition themes into unique visual languages, design spatial and visual schemes with high recognition.
- Space Planning Ability: Familiar with ergonomics and space utilization principles, able to reasonably plan routes and zones, ensuring functionality and visual coordination.
- Software Operation Ability: Proficient in design tools such as AutoCAD (drafting), 3ds Max/Cinema 4D3D modeling), Photoshop (flat design), SketchUp (space sketching), etc.
- Material and Technology Knowledge: Understand the characteristics, cost, and construction of various construction materials, master the logic of multimedia technology application in exhibitions.
- Communication and Coordination Ability: Able to accurately understand customer needs, collaborate efficiently with teams and technical personnel, and ensure the smooth implementation of design plans.
