Logistics Distribution Specialist is a professional who specializes in the last-mile delivery of goods, with the core responsibility of ensuring goods are accurately, timely, and safely delivered from warehouses or distribution centers to the end customers, serving as a key role connecting the logistics process and customers.
Main Responsibilities:
- Delivery Plan Execution: Based on delivery orders and route planning, is responsible for the loading and verification of goods (including quantity, specifications, recipient information etc.), and completing the delivery task according to the plan.
- End-of-Delivery Operations: Deliver goods to the customer's designated location, verify complete the signing process with the customer, and handle any questions or simple needs (such as instructions for the placement of goods, etc.) that arise during the customer's receipt
- Exception Handling: In the event of problems arising during delivery (such as the customer not being at home, incorrect address, minor damage to goods, etc.), with relevant departments in a timely manner to coordinate solutions such as re-delivery or rescheduling of delivery.
- Distribution Information Feedback: Timely input of completed delivery, customer feedback, etc., into the management system to ensure real-time updates of logistics information.
- Vehicle and Goods Maintenance: Responsible for the daily inspection and basic of delivery tools (such as electric bicycles, trucks, etc.) to ensure transport safety; protect goods during delivery to avoid damage or loss.
Required Skills and Qualities
- Familiar with the last-mile delivery process and regional traffic conditions, with good route planning ability, to efficiently complete delivery tasks.
- Possess strong communication and a service-oriented mindset, able to communicate patiently with customers and properly handle simple customer complaints.
- Work meticulously and responsibly, with a sense of time, and to withstand a certain amount of work pressure (such as larger delivery volume during peak periods).
- Possess basic problem-solving skills, able to respond to emergencies that during delivery (such as sudden weather changes, traffic congestion, etc.).
