Logistics Manager is a professional responsible for the full process planning, organization, coordination, and control of logistics activities in enterprise. - Supply chain coordination: Dock with purchasing, production, sales and other links, coordinate logistics nodes such as material warehousing and product warehousing, ensure smooth connection of each link in the supply chain, and reduce inventory backlog or shortage.
- Logistics cost control: Analyze the cost of logistics link (such as transportation costs, storage costs), identify the space for cost optimization, and reduce the total logistics cost through process improvement and resource integration.
- Logistics management: Use logistics management system (such as TMS transportation management system, WMS warehouse management system), to achieve logistics information visualization, and improve the digital and intelligent level of operations.
Required abilities and qualities
- Possess professional knowledge of logistics management, supply chain management, etc., and be familiar with the operation process of each logistics and relevant industry regulations (such as transportation regulations, customs declaration procedures, etc.).
- Have strong overall planning and data analysis capabilities, and be able to optimize logistics and improve overall efficiency through data.
- Have good communication and coordination capabilities, and be able to effectively collaborate with upstream and downstream partners and internal departments of the enterprise to solve crosslink problems.
- Strong adaptability, able to quickly handle logistics emergencies (such as natural disasters causing transport interruptions, sudden increases in orders, etc.), and have strong sense of cost and service.
