Logistics Warehouseman

A logistics warehouse manager is a professional responsible for the efficient and orderly management of the storage process in the logistics chain ensuring the smooth operation of the storage link and reducing logistics costs.

 

Main job responsibilities:

 

- Inbound management: Responsible for the reception and acceptance of goodschecking quantity, specifications, quality, etc.), handling warehousing procedures, arranging storage locations reasonably, and registering inventory information.

- Storage management: Plan storage areas to the characteristics of goods (such as temperature and humidity requirements, shelf life, fragility, etc.), properly classify, stack, and protect goods, regularly inspect the condition goods to prevent damage or expiration.

- Outbound management: According to the order requirements, select and check goods, handle outbound procedures, coordinate with the transportation link to ensure goods are dispatched accurately and timely.

- Inventory management: Regularly conduct inventory checks, verify actual inventory with system records, analyze the causes of inventory differences and handle them, inventory structure, and avoid overstock or shortages.

- Warehouse optimization: Participate in the planning of warehouse layout, the selection and use of equipment (such as shelves forklifts, warehouse management systems WMS), promote the standardization and intelligence of warehousing processes, and improve warehousing efficiency.

 

Required skills and qualities

 

- Possess professional knowledge of warehousing management, logistics operations, etc., and be familiar with the warehousing operation process and related tools (such as W systems, bar code technology, etc.).

- Have strong organizational coordination and planning capabilities, and be able to arrange human and material resources reasonably to ensure efficient connection of all of warehousing.

- Have certain data analysis capabilities, and be able to optimize warehousing strategies through inventory data, etc.

- Work meticulously and rigorously with a strong sense of responsibility, good problem-solving ability, and the ability to respond to emergencies in the warehousing process (such as damaged goods, system failures,.).
