Definition: A professional who masters the core techniques of yoga postures, breathing methods, and meditation combines human anatomy and exercise physiology knowledge, and provides safe and scientific yoga teaching and guidance for practitioners with different needs, helping them improve their physical condition, relieve emotions, and enhance and mental coordination.
The core of their work revolves around "personalized yoga teaching and health guidance," with key responsibilities and characteristics as follows:
- level-appropriate content: Able to customize teaching content based on the practitioner's foundation (such as beginners, advanced), physical condition (such as whether there are back and injuries, pregnancy/postpartum), and goals (such as fat loss and shaping, stress relief, improving posture), such as designing "Basic Sun Salutation" for, and arranging "Rehabilitative Shoulder and Neck Postures" for those with shoulder and neck discomfort.
- Safety first principle: Corrects incorrect postures accurately in (such as avoiding hunched back, excessive stretching), reminds practitioners to pay attention to body signals to prevent sports injuries, and explains the coordination techniques of postures and breathing avoid the misconception of "only focusing on postures without emphasizing breathing."
- Extending physical and mental guidance: Not only teaches movements but also conveys the healthy concept yoga, such as guiding practitioners to relieve anxiety through meditation, and assisting in achieving practice goals through dietary suggestions, to achieve the dual effect of "body exercise psychological adjustment."
