Cashiers are personnel responsible for cash register operations in commercial venues such as supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants, convenience stores, etc. core responsibilities include providing customers with quick and accurate cash register services, and assisting in maintaining transaction order.

Main job duties:

- Responsible for scanning or entering information of goods purchased by customers, accurately calculating the amount of goods.

- Receive cash, bank cards, mobile payments, etc. paid by customers, ensure that the amount money received is consistent with the bill, and promptly give change.

- Issue shopping invoices or receipts for customers.

- Properly keep cash, bills, and cash equipment to ensure the safety of funds.

- Answer customers' inquiries about commodity prices, promotional activities, etc.

- Keep the cash register area clean, and assist in the or inventory of goods (if required in some places).

Required skills and qualities:

- Possess basic mathematical calculation ability and accuracy in making change.

 Familiar with the operation process of various payment methods, and can proficiently use cash register machines, POS machines, etc.

- Have good communication skills and service consciousness, and patiently respond to customer needs.

- Work carefully, be responsible, and have certain emergency handling capabilities (such as dealing with counterfeit money, payment failures, etc.).
