Maternity nurse, also known as a postpartum doula, is a professional who specializes in caring for new mothers and their newbor, with the core work being to provide scientific and comprehensive nursing services for the mother and baby.

Main service content:

1. Newborn care: This includes feeding (breast milk/formula milk), burping, bathing, umbilical cord care, clothing cleaning and disinfection, sleep habit training, and observing and dealing with problems such as jaundice and eczema.

2. Postpartum mother care: Assist in postpartum recovery (such as wound care, lochia), make postpartum meals, guide postpartum recovery exercises, and provide emotional counseling to help prevent postpartum depression.

3. Auxiliary work: Organ the hygiene of the mother and baby's room, ensure a clean and comfortable living environment, and some will assist in handling simple household chores related to the mother and baby.

Core competency requirements:

- Hold relevant qualifications in maternity nursing, have professional nursing knowledge and practical experience.

- Have good communication skills and patience, be able to cooperate with family members, and provide timely feedback on the condition of the mother and baby.

- Be in good health, free from infectious diseases, hold a health certificate, and ensure safety of contact with the mother and baby.
